"All good things must come to an end ... " After 20 years in business, beloved Paris boutique, Colette, will soon be closing its doors for good. Opened in 1997 by Colette Roussaux, the 8,000 square-foot space on rue Saint-Honoré has become a fashion Mecca of sorts, with inventory ranging from high-end luxury labels, to up-and-coming streetwear brands, to quirky one-offs. Bid farewell to the Parisian landmark* with a trip into the Videofashion Vault - we were there shortly after the store opened for a Paris Fashion Week soiree in 1997 ...

* Well - it should be a landmark!

Marc Jacobs referenced hip hop and street culture in a surprising and unconventional runway show.

Brandon Maxwell showcased a sexy Fall 2017 collection fit for the confident, empowered girl - drawing inspiration, as always, from the strong women in his life. 

While Prabal Gurung’s fall collection was beautifully conceived (and will be appearing on a red carpet near you!), the real message of his runway could literally be read during a simple, moving finale which featured statement t-shirts – and produced many tears on the front row

Christian Siriano drew inspiration from the rocky landscapes of the Valley of Fire, and presented his stunning Fall 2017 collection along with a body-positive message, thanks to a diverse cast of models. 

Carolina Herrera showed us many different takes on the simple white blouse, as well as beautifully feminine separates and dresses with her signature sophistication in a timeless and effortless Fall 2017 collection.

Joseph Altuzarra looked to Northern European Renaissance paintings for inspiration for his feminine and tailored Fall 2017 collection.

Actress Caitriona Balfe scored her second Golden Globes nomination this week for her work on the hit series Outlander. Before the Irish beauty was an A-list thespian, she had a successful modeling career, working with the likes of Michael Kors, Roberto Cavalli, and Oscar de la Renta. In 2003, we sat down with Caitriona before she hit the runway for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, where she discussed - among other things - her small-town Irish upbringing and her acting aspirations ...

Fashion Group International's 2016 "Night of Stars" Gala, "The Non-Conformists," brought fashion industry elites together at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City for an evening of celebration, commemoration, and camaraderie. This year's honorees included Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, Tommy & Dee Hilfiger, supermodel Pat Cleveland, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute's esteemed curator, Andrew Bolton, and many more, not to mention stars from Christina Ricci to Nicki Minaj ...
