See Videofashion Footage in Very Ralph Doc, Premiering on HBO

Footage from Videofashion’s unparalleled fashion video archive appears in the upcoming documentary Very Ralph. We are pleased to have been an early resource for the filmmakers, providing them with rare footage from the 70s and 80s. 

The film, directed and produced by Susan Lacy (HBO’s Jane Fonda in Five Acts, Spielberg), is the first documentary portrait of the American fashion designer Ralph Lauren, revealing the man behind the icon and the creation of one of the most successful brands in fashion history.

Very Ralph will be premiering on HBO on Tuesday November 12th at 9:00PM ET, and will be available on demand on November 13th. 

Very Ralph is just the latest in a series of films and series that relied on rare archival footage from the Videofashion Library - including Halston and CNN’s American Style.
