Bridal Fashion Week to Get Spotlight in New TV Special

The upcoming New York Bridal Week, which kicks off next week, will be the subject of a new TV special to air on Ovation TV on June 3.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION: The upcoming New York Bridal Week, which kicks off next Wednesday and runs through April 18, will be the subject of a new TV special to air on Ovation TV, the national arts channel. Dubbed “The Art of the Ceremony,” the segment is the result of a collaboration between The Bridal Council, a newly launched organization of designers, journalists, retailers and industry professionals seeking to further consumer awareness of the bridal market, and Videofashion, the producer and distributor of fashion programming since 1976. “The Art of the Ceremony” will provide viewers with a behind-the-scenes peek into the ateliers of top bridal designers as they prepare for New York Bridal Week, in addition to interviews with models and personalities in the beauty, hair, jewelry, floral, wedding cake and tabletop industries. The special, which aims to shine a light on the bridal industry from an insider’s perspective, is slated to air on June 3.
